Crab Island Flatback Sea Turtle Research Project | Wildlife Conservation Co

Crab Island, located in remote northern Australia, is the largest nesting rookery in the World for the rare Flatback Sea Turtle. It is a hostile island, where few people have ventured, largely due to it's reputation for large saltwater crocodiles. Brett & Kelsey Leis from the Wildlife Conservation Co embarked on a research project over several years discovering the secrets of the turtles & crocodiles. What they found has since lead to documentaries by National Geographic & BBC.
